"PROMOTING POSITIVE WORKPLACE CULTURE" WORKSHOP, 21 June 2024

The workshop was held at the Wellcome Centre for Human Genetics on 21st June 2024, hosted by the CGHR EDIA working group, together with colleagues from Experimental Medicine and the Centre for Human Genetics.

The workshop was designed to raise the profile of equality, diversity and inclusion in the workplace, enabling participants to consider how, as individuals, we can encourage positive attitudes and behaviours at work, identify negative influences, and learn how to intervene and support victims when necessary.

We were delighted to have input from an external speaker from the Oxfordshire Sexual Abuse and Rape Crisis Centre. This organisation runs highly regarded training for University/College groups focussed on identifying harassment and creating a cultural environment to prevent it.
