HSC Skills Sessions
The Health Systems Collaborative runs monthly skills seminars on various topics in global health research, with a particular focus on different methodological approaches. Topics to date have included philosophical assumptions and research paradigms, utilisation-focused evaluations, designing complex interventions, participatory visual methods, scoping and rapid reviews, realism, human centred design, case study designs, mixed methods, health economics and using theory of change in evaluations.

Throughout the year, AfOx support the exchange of ideas, research evidence, skills and experience to a multidisciplinary audience. The AfOx insakas are a platform to share ideas and knowledge about Africa-focused research with speakers from diverse and varied academic disciplines.
AfOx is hosting the second edition of the FORA Conference on May 12, 2023, at Pembroke College. FORA will bring together researchers from Oxford and African partner institutions from multidisciplinary fields to share recent findings, ideas and solutions on a range of Africa-related issues.
